Handcrafted Starling “S” links are 5/8″ in length, about the size of a dime, and 1/4″ in width. Flat Sterling wire is used in this piece so that the bracelet sits flat on the wrist.

Heat from the flame used during the fabrication process causes the metal to turn into darker shades. I’ve maintained of some that weathered appearance as it gives the jewelry a genuine, rustic artisan branding. It makes this piece into a wonderful storyteller.

The dainty extender has a 2mm faceted, clear Swarovski crystal, and a 3mm dark grey pyrite bead. It’s a charming tail for the end of this exquisite bracelet.

There’s plenty of handiwork in this bracelet. Each component is crafted with heat and a hammer, and then buffed by hand with steel wool. Yep. That’s old school. Then it’s on to the tumbler where the metal hardening begins. As is the case with other pieces from The Starling Collection, I’ve kept the aged look of the worked Sterling to show its gorgeous, worn appeal. It’s handcrafted! I love that the jewelry tells its own history.
The Starling in Sterling Chain Bracelet is adjustable using the extender, or simply by attaching the lobster claw to any curve in one of the larger links.
